More than 200 operators, regulators and service companies worked on the same question: how to retire offshore assets safely and at the right cost. Our takeaway: Australia's decommissioning wave is being scoped and contracted now, and plug and abandonment cost is decided by barriers, integrity and subsurface judgement.
