The globe on our home page is not decoration; it is an org chart. Quartic has partners across Brazil, Norway, Switzerland, Singapore and Australia, and no head office among them. Whichever one is awake is the one in charge.
This is a deliberate design, and it works because of what we are not. We are not a pyramid: there is no bench of analysts waiting to be staffed, no account layer between you and the person doing the work. When senior engineers share a problem across that many time zones, the problem simply never sleeps.
In practice it looks like this: a due-diligence question lands from an operator at the close of a Brazilian business day. By the next morning there, the wells review has been through Norway's morning, Singapore's afternoon and Australia's evening. The client experiences it as overnight magic; internally it is just the sun doing its rounds.
The same geography maps onto regulation. Norway gives us the North Sea regime, Brazil the ANP's world, Switzerland the European frameworks, Singapore and Australia the Asia-Pacific hubs. When we say we work both sides of the regulatory table, the passports help.
Small, senior, distributed. It is not the only way to build an advisory firm. But for subsurface work, where the questions are global and the answers are urgent, we think it is the right one.
