Typical scenario
When we get the call
Typical scenario
An ageing subsea system needs an honest integrity view and a case for life extension
Typical scenario
The tool that removes that structure does not exist in anyone's catalogue yet
Typical scenario
A bid for a decommissioning campaign is in preparation, and you need an optimised approach to create a differential
Typical scenario
A unique subsea system needs a new method statement to cut the vessel requirement from four down to one
Typical scenario
A degraded wellhead needs specific tethering and hydrodynamic simulation to make well access possible
What we deliver
- Early stage FEED for SPS and SURF systems, with tie-back feasibility assessment
- Riser analysis, hydrodynamic simulation and FEA-based mechanical and hardware interface studies
- Bespoke subsea tooling: specialized XMT interfaces, custom ROV tools and structural removal equipment, from concept through manufacturing oversight and FAT
- Asset integrity evaluation, system life extension and complex subsea repair execution
- Streamlined method statements and decommissioning plans your offshore spread can actually execute
The deliverable is the engineering, not the hardware. We design the tool, oversee its manufacture and we are in the room for factory acceptance testing; fabrication sits with the vendors. That boundary is why the interface engineering has to be right before anything is cut, and getting it right is what eliminates interface friction and de-risks offshore operations.
How we work
Subsea systems rarely fail in the middle of a component. They fail at the boundary between two of them, and that boundary belongs to nobody until something goes wrong offshore. Quartic manages every critical hardware and operational boundary, from early stage FEED and SPS and SURF definition through manufacturing supervision and factory acceptance testing, then stays involved through asset integrity monitoring and complex subsea repair execution. Where the catalogue runs out we engineer the tooling ourselves, so method statements and FEED eliminate interface friction instead of documenting it.
Every engagement follows the four Quartic principles, agile, transparent, innovative, hands-on, with deliveries tailored to each client's approach and standards. Our partners stay personally involved from kick-off to close-out.

Common questions
Do you design bespoke tooling, or only specify it?
We engineer it. Specialized XMT interfaces, custom ROV tools and structural removal equipment go from initial concept through manufacturing oversight, and we are in the room for factory acceptance testing.
Do you manufacture the hardware yourselves?
No. We engineer it, supervise manufacture and witness testing; fabrication sits with the vendors. That split is exactly why the interface engineering has to be right before anything is cut.
We answer in 24h.
